I'm a solo web developer based in Plano, TX. I started RankTop DFW because I kept seeing local businesses get burned by large agencies — paying thousands a month for reports full of vanity metrics while their phone stayed quiet.
The bigger pattern I kept running into was the websites themselves. Most local business sites are built on WordPress with a stack of plugins — slow on mobile, brittle under updates, and technically broken from the start. A site that scores 61 on Google's PageSpeed test is leaking more than half its traffic before the page even finishes loading. No amount of SEO work fixes a foundation that's wrong.
